My journey into Beauty Therapy began at the age of 18, and from the very start, I knew I had found my passion. I spent four years at college gaining my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, along with my HNC and HND in Beauty Therapy, qualifying across all areas of the industry.

From the outset, I always knew I wanted to run my own business. With that goal in mind, I went straight on to university after college and achieved a BA in Applied Enterprise with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland, alongside continuing to build my beauty career.

On my very first lecture, I remember thinking, “What on earth am I doing?” — it was completely different from beauty therapy, and I had very limited business knowledge at the time. However, I committed myself fully, embraced the challenge, and was ultimately awarded the Court Medal for achieving the highest grades in my course.

Business knowledge in the bag (or so I thought) I then began my career in the beauty industry. Early on, I set my sights high and began my professional career as a Skin Care Specialist with the number one skincare brand on the market. This role provided me with extensive professional training in London, allowing me to further develop my massage techniques and advanced facial knowledge, while gaining invaluable industry experience. I then furthered on my business knowledge and gained a BA Business HONS   while I continued working within the beauty and wellness industry, progressing into an Advanced Therapist role at a prestigious 5* Health Spa (Stobo Castle 👀).

Through dedication and a strong work ethic, I had the opportunity to train with many highly publicised and well-known beauty brands across a wide range of face & body treatments. 

Two years later, with the knowledge and training in the bag, Massage & Skin Therapy was  created!
